I would absolutely recommend this surgeon. I had my breasts enlarged and naturally I was nervous. Dr Chester was amazing from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Mr Chester is exactly the sort of consultant you hope you'll have. He is approachable, understanding and thorough. He answered all my questions both pre and post surgery, as well as addressing any concerns I had. He seems to be genuinely concerned for the welfare of his patients and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Mr Chester is an exemplary surgeon and consultant. I was involved in every decision all the risks where explained and I was always informed and listened to. He is always friendly and polite and made me feel at ease during the entire process. I am so happy with my results and think my experience with surgery was made so much easier and more exciting with such an amazing consultant and doctor. I was listened to, I was able to express my certains and formed a big trust that will never go away. I am so thrilled that I had such a wonderful consultant for the past five years and so thankful for what he has done for my life, so greatful that I have no reason to go back to hospital but he will be missed. The care I have received has always been perfect I was treated more like a member of family than a patient absolute pleasure to have Mr Chester as my surgeon.

Mr. Chester's expertise and post-operative care was exemplary. Such a polite, friendly, informative, caring man, who always greeted me with a smile. His constant cheerfulness was contagious. He totally put me at ease and was so thorough and patient, always willing to investigate and discuss any concerns I may have had.

Having dithered for years as to whether to have a blemish removed from my chin I have only praise for Mr. Chester. The risks were explained and the whole procedure a good experience, from Mr.Chester's neat stitches to the helpful nursing team & the follow up appointments..

Mr Chester is a consultant plastic surgeon. He qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1995 with Honours in Pharmacology. He was trained in plastic surgery in the West Midlands. He is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery and was awarded the prestigious McGregor medal for achieving the highest mark in the FRCS(Plast.) examination. He has worked in the field of plastic surgery for the last 15 years and was appointed a consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (formerly Selly Oak Hospital) in 2007. He also provides the plastic surgery service for Worcestershire (Kidderminster Hospital and Worcestershire Royal Hospital). He prides himself on his communication skills and involves patients fully in decision-making so that a tailored treatment plan is made. He has recently ran a communication skills course for plastic surgery doctors.
He has a number of specialist interests including: cosmetic breast surgery (enlargement, reduction, uplift, correction of asymmetry), tummy tuck surgery, liposuction, eyelid bag correction, scar revision, pinnaplasty (ear pinning), removal of skin lesions including skin cancers, hand surgery, amputation stump revision.
